41 and TTC

I'm 41 and have just started trying for baby number 2. I haven't had a period since Sept 2020 so have started progesterone to bring one on. After that I will be starting another med to help with ovulation. Anyone have any tips or tricks to help???

I took an ovulation test today and it read positive....but can I even get pregnant without having my period first??? New to this and hoping for the best!!!!
