Planned Pregnancy but WTF is going on?!?

My fiancee and I have only been trying for a month to get pregnant after months on planning. My fertility window was the 8th through the 12 and yeah!  I'm only like 3 weeks pregnant but; after taking the test last night with my fiancee he said he was speechless, left and we haven't talked since.

Men have nerve to say us women are crazy. Men are freaking insane! He's probably just freaking out. Give him time to be a baby and he should get over it lol. I'm not bad mouthing your fiance BTW so don't take it that way! Most men have a couple screws loose and have trouble accepting big life changes. :-)

My husband and I planned, talked, negotiated when we'd start trying, tried for a yeah natural, did 4 rounds of fertility meds, and he was still surprised and shocked we were pregnant. Men are just weird. I'm 30 weeks now and he's been excited and now is starting to get nervous but those first few weeks were odd.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one who went througha planned planned pregnancy and the significant other acting the total opposite of what was expected.

If it makes you feel any better, we had the same issue except reversed. I freaked and was just unapproachable for a bit. The shock of such a confirmed life change takes adjustment and unfortunately, not all of us adjust the same. I think the only downside to his behavior is him not being able to express what he is feeling so you understand the walking away. I know I don't adjust well and I told my husband what I was thinking and he accepted that. Maybe try telling him something like 'I understand this must be a lot to process, but you don't have to process it all at once and I am here and ready to listen if talking helps.' You'll both be the better for it. :)

I am 9 weeks pregnant and my husband still hasn't come round to the idea I'm pregnant. He said it hasn't sunk in yet. Even though we planned to try after our wedding day a month ago!?!
