Advice on easing miscarriage worries?
Hi!
I’m currently about 4 weeks pregnant +/- a few days. This is my first time ever being pregnant and we actually weren’t yet TTC! I’m not overly consumed by fears about miscarriage but I am worried and would really like some advice on easing my mind if y’all have any. I don’t have anything abnormal happening and in fact so far I have pretty mild symptoms. I guess I’m just nervous because it’s my first pregnancy and I know how precarious pregnancy can be from all my pre-conception prep and research. I have my first doctors appointment on Monday (in 5 days).
I wouldn’t say I’m overly stressed out about it - like it isn’t totally consuming me or dampening my excitement, but pretty much any time I have a little cramp or ache, I find myself Googling and obsessing for a minute, feeling no more reassured since Google is a scary place, and then eventually forgetting about it until the next little gurgle or twitch in me. Anyone have any advice?
