Baby watches tv😐😒

Hi ladies. My baby is 13 months old. She is an active baby, but she doesn't like to play with toys rather she loves to just walk around and play with the kitchen and she will be in the kitchen most of her day. We got many toys but none would help her. When i have to work in the kitchen i will turn on the tv. I know watching tv at this age is not good/ recommend, but we don't see any other option. I don't want her to be in the kitchen when am doing something in the kitchen, which is not safe to be in kitchen when iam cooking. I always regret about her watching tv. Does babies eye get spoil watching tv most of the day? Pls do respond mommies. Any other ideas/suggestions? TIAh
