Iud??

So I’ve been on the pull since I was 15 I think, and I’m now 18 and thinking about switching to an IUD. Sometimes I forget to take pills or take them too late, and I’m a really scatterbrained and busy person so I thought this would fit more into my lifestyle. What are your experiences with an IUD? Good or bad? Does it hurt? How long does the pain last if it hurts? Just give me a run down of your experience because I feel like it would help me decide what I want to hear it from real people that have gotten this.
