The daycare closest to my house costs $320 a week for my toddler. I also have a 4 month old which would cost $350 a week.

This is $2,680 a month and $32,160 a year.

This is about what my after tax salary was when I stopped working in April 2019. We knew we wanted another baby soon after so we thought it was best for me to just stay home.

I’ve really been getting the itch to get back to work lately so I started looking up prices and I’m just blown away. Is it like this everywhere or just where I live? (Upstate Ny)
