Has anyone not announced their pregnancy ?

I’m debating on not announcing my pregnancy until my second trimester or later due solely on the fact to avoid drama with family. Has anyone waiting to announce for this reason, do you regret that choice?

When this happens for us I'm not looking forward to telling his side of the family. His mom is effing crazy. I even had the thought to get a body guard in case her ass tries to come to the hospital. Lol I'd wait as long as humanly possible if you have my type of situation.

I haven’t announced it and I am 37 weeks. However we decided this after loosing our baby girl in March around 18 weeks. We will announced his arrival. 🙌

I waited a little over 4 months to tell anyone including my parents. Only people who knew was the ones at my job because I was out on restrictions and my boyfriend and sister. I did it to keep stress off the first trimester and to bring peace to me knowing that I’m doing best to make sure I make it in to the second trimester.

I'm 14weeks on Sunday and still haven't said a thing to my parents, my in laws know and so do my kids I do not regret it and have no idea when I will tell them, how or if I ever will or if I just show up with a growing belly

I’m 22 weeks and haven’t announced other than to my grandma and sister. I work full time (remote) and won’t announce until 30 days prior as I’ll be taking a 4 month leave.

Im 20 weeks and other than my colleagues and immediate family no one else knows. I will be announcing this weekend to extended family.
