I normally have my roots tinted brown level 5-6, my natural hair is around 3-4 so it lifts about one shade, anyway last treatment the stylist ran the same root tint through my ends (which I never usually do) and left it on for around 10 min and now I have a distinct line where my roots are lighter than my ends which are about a level 1 darkest black. I am so scared this colour is deeply locked into my cuticles now because I use bond enhancers like smart bond and olaplex.

How can I remove this overtone to my ends without bleach? I really don’t want to damage my hair. I have tried mixing baking soda a shampoo but nothing budged.

UPDATE: Bought a colour remover 🤞🏼 haven’t received it yet but really hope it works
