What were your retrieval/blast numbers?!

I was just curious what your numbers were? I know literally EVERYONE is so diff and so many variables, just kind of something for me to read through and get by the next few days 😅
I cannot really compare to my first round because it was kind of a shit show after retrieval. 
29 eggs. They didn’t ICSI. 0 fertilized day 1. Rescue ICSI yielded 5 fertilized. 1 made it to day 5 and frozen. High quality blast, untested, which is now my 19 month old! So I’m truly proof it only takes 1. 
This round, diff protocol. And obviously the most important thing was ICSI. I have a high AMH so was on somewhat lower doses I think. 75 Menopur, 150 Follistim. Didn’t change my dosage at all. Stimmed for 9 days. Retrieval was yesterday and I got my day 1 report today. I was so so nervous!
24 retrieved. 12 mature, 11 fertilized. My clinic said that if more than 4 are still growing on day 3 then they’ll push them to day 5. If there are 4 or less they freeze on day 3. So obviously the next few days are nerve wracking and I’m hoping for at least a couple that make it🙏🏻 I would love to have another, but no matter what I’m so extremely grateful for what I have and will be okay. This process is so exhausting. We are literally unexplained, obvious fertilization issue. I have a high AMH but regular cycles. SA normal. No other issues.

Round 1- just Gonal for stims for 14 days- AFC was 8, 10 retrieved, 9 mature, 9 fertilized, 4 blasts on day 5 (all excellent). Untested, transferred 3, 1 still frozen.
Round 2- Menopur and Gonal for 11 days-  AFC was 20, 11 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized, 1 made it to blast on day 7 (poor grade). That 1 is PGT-A normal and still frozen. 
Round 3 TBD- doing Lupron, Low dose Gonal and Low dose Menopur, and HGH for retreival this time.

On day 5 - 4 embryos were still thriving and biopsied for PGT. 
Many weeks later....
Of those 4 embryos tested- 3 came back viable.

Currently pregnant with my straw #2 baby boy. 
Hopefully I’ll be able to use my remaining eggs later 😻

Hi Sarah! Congrats on your retrieval, those numbers sound very promising! Fingers crossed for lots of healthy embryos!! 
When we did ivf a while back, we had 24 retrieved, 16 mature and 13 were fertilized w/ ICSI. Out of those we had 12 still growing on day 3, and ended up with 6 blasts total ( weird I have these numbers engraved in my memory, I was going over them so many times in my head lol). One was a fresh transfer and she’s now 2, and the rest are frozen and awaiting to be transferred lol

R1: 5 retrieved, 5 mature, 5 fertilized, 2 day 5, transferred one and one is still frozen. Early miscarriage. 
R2: 6 retrieved, 5 mature, 5 fertilized, 2 day 5 early blasts, transferred both, negative beta. 
R3: terrible protocol and had one to transfer on day 3. Negative. 
R4: 5 retrieved, 4 mature, 4 fertilized, 2 day 5, transferred 1, 1 still frozen. Early miscarriage. 
All of those were fresh transfers. We are doing a mock cycle to do an era and then will be transferring our last two they are frozen. None have been tested.

Had OHSS really badly so no fresh transfer, first FET was this month. Transfer was on 18th with beta test scheduled for 29th but AF started yesterday morning so first one failed. 😞
Doing FET on a natural cycle so we should be able to do our second FET straight away. 🤞
Still have 9 blasts frozen so we should hopefully get our family from those and not have to do retrieval again.
