Just wondering how do you wash toys that would say "only wipe with damp cloth"?

Which company makes newborn toys they would put in their mouth that you can't properly sanitize..?!

I bought these type toys secondhand, I asked in advance if they were machine washable, the seller told me she does..

With covid I didn't check the label until I was home.. But the label says only wipe with damp cloth.. It being secondhand, I don't feel like that's clean enough.

Our baby is very "mouths on" and he likes to soak toys in his saliva and suck the saliva out..

I did thesame when I was a baby/young child (though aparantly definitely old enough to remember)
