Has anyone tried the birthcontrol that goes in your arm?

I have high blood pressure and have to switch. Any side effects?

I switched to the arm implant after developing high blood pressure as well. I’m now on my third implant. My side effects have included irregular bleeding/spotting (which is the most common side effect of progestin only methods like the implant), as well as occasional mild/moderate; cramps, headaches, fatigue, nausea, moodiness, a higher sex drive, and on rare occasions sore nipples. That said, everyone’s body reacts differently.

I have endometriosis and bled for a year straight before they finally took it out. I don’t suggest it

Nexplanon still has estrogen which is not good for people with high blood pressure.
