Article On First Hand Bipolar Experiences

anonymiz • ⭐️

Hi! My name is Gabriella. Im a mother of 2 boys and I have a baby girl due in June. Im currently doing a study on multiple platforms in hopes of people reaching out their first hand stories of dealing with and/or living with Bipolar Disorder. My dad was diagnosed at age 24 with the disorder, and now at 42 years of age, he has finally accepted it and has been spending the last 2 year dedicating his time to find others to share their raw experiences through it. The weekly struggles of depression or mania; actions and regrets made during both phases, how long the phases last for individual people; and as far as relationships for spouses, brothers, sisters, extended relationships: How do you cope with living around the disorder? DO you cope? How did you learn to accept it?

If you wouldn't mind leaving a comment, or even messaging me you're stories, it's a completely Anonymous article that will be able to help those who suffer from the disorder understand they are truly not alone. There are many books, websites, and therapist that have diagnose and made "text book" characteristics, but let's be honest:

Everyone is different. Everyone experiences it differently, and we want to get those stories out there.

Thanks again in advanced for sharing your piece!
