I had a clogged duct yesterday I believe. My left breast was hard and incredibly tender and I could see the milk lines. My milk production was significantly down on my left side vs my right. This was a long time coming I think as the production on my left side decreased over time.

I spent the day rotating between hot showers, massaging, nursing, pumping, and my heating pad. I ended up unclogging it in the evening. By midnight I was pumping more of an even amount on each side.

Now I’m noticing my supply is down on that side again. I’m pumping 20 mL on my left side and my usual 3+ oz on my right.

It doesn’t feel clogged or anything, but idk what’s going on with it. Would it be because of my production while my duct was clogged? Could it be because I tend to sleep on my left side? Looking for any advice to help get it back to normal.
