Recently diagnosed with HSV-2. No outbreaks so my guess is this has being laying in a dormant stage. About a month ago I started seeing this guy, sex only twice with protection. However, I did perform oral sex on him twice. Is it possible I could have passed on the virus? The doctor said had I contracted from him it would be soon to tell. I contacted my previous partner (9yr relationship) and he was so nonchalant about it and claimed he was clean but I requested that he take a test and present the results to me. Again, could I infected the new partner?
