Looking for recommendations for a water filter

Hi I’m looking for recommendations for water filters that go onto a faucet. I looked at brita and pur filters but they all have bad ratings.

We only filter water for taste, and I am happy with brita. We actually have the large size one that goes on the counter, but uses the same filter. I am super picky about how my water tastes (having grown up with an artesian well and hard water) and I have been able to drink tap water in a variety of cities with this. If you need to filter for some other reason, it may make sense to look at a full system filter rather than a faucet mounted one.

I don’t know about those but depending on where you live and what you want to filter, it may not do the job. Where I live we have very high manganese in the water. It’s not going to kill you but it’s not recommended to drink the tap water (always been high in manganese, just EPAs guidelines changed). Anyway, filters do not remove it and boiling increases the amount. The only solution is water softeners or reversed osmosis system. We had both before the announcement a few years ago
