Is it safe to take laxatives while pregnant? I’m constipated af and I’m in my second trimester.

I think there are certain ones that are pregnancy safe since it is a very common pregnancy symptom. Natural remedies like stonefruits dried or juiced work well and are safe.

No laxatives...use a stool softener by the name of Colace it’s safe per my doctor. Good luck hope this helps!!!

Just buy prunes! And drink LOTS of water!!! It’s very common to get constipated when pregnant. But drinking a lot of water definitely helps and also eating prunes!

You wanna check with uour doc about this but a glass of prune juice in the mornings works wonders for me.
