Dog ate chicken bones 🤦🏼‍♀️

Have you called the vet?? If not you need to do that asap. A bone or 2 usually will pass in most dogs (not all and size/breed does matter) but if your dog ate all 25 bones or even a good number of them yes it could end poorly if not dealt with. The can get stuck in the intestines or colon, can splinter or break and perforate something, can cause a bowel obstruction, etc. I am hoping you called the vet as soon ad it happened but if not you need to do so and tell them exactly how many bones you think they ate. They might just have you watch you dog for a few days, or suggest a specific food to help, or tell you to go to the vet immediately. I hope your pupper is ok but call the vet and listen to a T what they tell you and follow it.

I agree with the others to call your vet as soon as they open. This happened to me before. My dog ate an entire chicken rotisserie carcass which was a TON of bones. While you wait for your vet to open, try and feed your dog some bread. It helps provide some cushion for the bones. That’s what I was told to do. My dog ended up being perfectly fine!
