I’m a ftm and trying to breast feed. My son was born yesterday and my milk hasn’t come in. He’s so fussy and wants the boob every two hours on the dot.

When I latch him I try to do what I was taught: tummy to tummy, cross hold his head, wait until he opens wide, and shove as much of the boob in. Most of the time he gets the whole nipple and some tissue. But the last few feeds have been killing my nipples. I literally wanna cry. I don’t know if it’s just sensitive or I’m probably doing something wrong.

Pleaseeee help. If there’s a better way to latch or know that your latch is good please let me know. I don’t want to give up but I’m so frustrated already with myself.
