Contractions feel like twisting pain?

Can they feel like that? Mine are like bad period cramps and feel like twisting pain

When I had my daughter I had ‘period cramps’ for 12 hours they started if mild and by the end of the day I had to sit down to get through them. Turned out I was in labor and an hour after getting to the hospital my water broke! 
Keep an eye on them if they increase over time, it might be baby time!! Good luck 🍀

They do tend to “wrap around” the belly into the back or from the back into the belly. Mine felt like period cramps or really bad poop cramps at first

Everyone’s contractions are different 
My sister inlaw didn’t know she was in labor she was just getting period cramps the entire time 
My first daughter I thought I had a really upset stomach on its way (to start off with) it was horrible and intense 
My second daughter was a back labor so that was absolute death 
So the best way to know if you aren’t going to go to labor and delivery is tk time them ☺️
