Anyone not take maternity leave? I am in the US and I don’t have short term disability to pay for paid maternity leave. I’m working up until I give birth in less than 30 days. There’s no way I can afford to take extra time off. Has anyone else done this? How was your recovery? My job doesn’t require a lot of physical work so that’s a plus. I’m mainly worried about not getting to spend time with the baby in the beginning. But I have two other children 6 and 18 months and I need to be able to support them as well. I have child care as well so that’s not an issue. Just looking for others experiences with not being able to afford to take a maternity leave.
