When did you announce pregnancy on social media?

Husband and I keep going back and forth on when we want to announce publicly. This is our first and everything is still super new for us. Just wanted to see what everyone else typically does☺️

I announced after my “12 week” scan with my doctor. For my first, that was around 11.5 weeks, and with this one, it’ll be 12.5 weeks!

Currently 10w5d. We will probably announce around 20 weeks on social media. Most of our close friends already know anyways.

I am waiting until after my 12 week scan to announce to everyone. My immediate family know but I want to make sure everything looks good before letting everyone else know. I had a miscarriage last year so I’m just being extra cautious. It’s really up to each person on when they want to announce. There is no right or wrong time! Good luck 😊

i announced early because i was too excited🤣 i’ve had a miscarriage and it can be scary, but it’s all up to you. if you want to announce at 6 weeks or wait until 12 do that. whatever feels comfortable to you! ❤️

I waited until 20 weeks with my daughter purely because I just forgot. Idc that much about positing on sm because my close friends all know. I’m thinking about doing a Valentine’s Day announcement and I’ll be 15 weeks.
