Condoms?

Does he need to wear a condom if I’m on birth control and he pulls out? We’ve always been super careful but I am now on birth control so I’m wondering

It's up to you. If you are taking your birth control as prescribed, then you should be fine. Key word is should. There are times where birth control fails. So the risk is up to you.

It’s really up to you. If you are more comfortable with using condoms then use them. They do protect against STIs and STDs. Although if you are with a long term partner that should not be an issue. No birth control method is 100% but birth control in addition to pulling out is very effective and the chances of pregnancy are incredibly low. However, if you wish to be extra careful then use condoms. Really at that point it is preference based.

Boyfriend and I never wear condoms, and he pulls out. I’m almost always on time with my birth control, and I’ve been with him for three years and I’ve never had anything even remotely close to a pregnancy scare.

Best form of protection is both birth control and condoms. If one fails the other is the back up and being preventative of yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, tric, thrush and other std and sti. Semen throws off your ph levels.
