So, I'm almost 19 weeks pregnant with baby #5, I was told 2 days ago that the down syndrome test came back as positive... I had to have another test done but I won't know anything until the 22nd... I'm panicking a bit but I know false positives happen. I'm having a hard time waiting on these results to come back, like I'm panicking in a sense lol like I just want to know. :/ and none of my other kids ever tested positive. Anyone have any advice to help me stay calm for the next couple weeks until I get my results? I'm even more nervous because I'm already high risk and dr says he doubts ill make it past 35 weeks! It will be my 5th c-section as well so we already are concerned about making sure baby stays put until at least 37 weeks.. so, there's a lot going on in my mind! (I've had my last 2 babies early so I know what to expect with an early baby but it is scary and NICU time is what scares me the most, I hated when my now 3 year old was in the nicu, it killed me.) But I know I can do this! Also, I will love baby the same, with or without down syndrome or anything else! I'm just concerned about its health.
