So many of you have been following about how my son who is 17 now got his girlfriend pregnant. She ended up moving in because her parents kicked her out and they want nothing to do with their baby. My son didn't actually tell me she was pregnant until he got a job first. They both work. He works at Walmart she is on her maternity leave from Olive Garden. They had their baby and my granddaughter is beautiful. I love her so much. Both are on therapy. My son needed more help because he has melt downs. He's autistic and he has been really working hard on his coping skills and not having as many melt downs. They are both online schooled and his girlfriend will most likely be graduating next year but my son JUST FINISHED HIS LAST CREDIT YESTERDAY!!!! He graduated a year earlier than he was supposed to! We are getting his High school diploma in the mail. They aren't sure what they are doing for graduation this year yet, but he graduated and that is all that matters! I was so scared when he came to me telling me she was pregnant, but I am very proud of both of them. They are good parents and his girlfriend's parents still don't want anything to do with the baby or her or my son or our family but that's there loss. Because of Covid I am surprising him by doordashing his favorite meal from his favorite restaurant and his girlfriend is making him a cake while he's napping with the baby. I am so proud of these too. I couldn't have asked for a better son!
