For the ladies that opted not to get the epidural, did you use IV medication at all? Were you able to do without? If you did use IV meds, what did you get and how did it affect you and baby after birth? Also if you opt to not have pain medication on your hospital registry, can you change your mind during the birth if its not too late?

I want to hopefully do as natural as possible but I’m willing to do IV meds as long as it doesn’t have any affect on baby. I’m not as open to an epidural due to personal reasons but would consider if necessary.
