I have a ton of unused Pregmates, so I took one today 6w1d, just for funsies. And weirdly, the test line was lighter than the control line, like it was a week ago.

So I diluted my pee to 50% pee, 50% water— presto! Super dark line again!

So there was the hook effect: my HCG was so concentrated that the test line was getting lighter until I diluted my pee, and then it got darker again.
