It has been shown to cause mental and physical trauma to babies, I find it incredibly barbaric and couldn’t imagine removing part of my baby’s body - especially without being under an anaesthetic. Its extremely outdated and was only appropriate in biblical times as they lived in the desert without appropriate cleaning materials.
It also reduces sensitivity and impacts future sexual enjoyment. 
I seriously don’t understand why there is international outrage at female genital mutilation yet male genital mutiliation is so common 😱😭

My son will be intact. I’m really really big on consent, and I have no interest in altering my perfect baby’s body for a non-medical reason without his consent. I also won’t pierce my daughter’s ears until she asks. It’s strange to me that circumcision is the norm here (US). Every surgical procedure carries a risk, and even though it is a small risk in this case, it could affect his future fertility and sexual function. (and for what? So his penis looks like Dad’s? Because you don’t want to teach him proper hygiene? Because everyone else is doing it?). Hard pass for me.

I didnt get my first son circumcised and I’m having another boy and I won’t be doing it with this one. It’s barbaric. Just teach him good hygiene

I seen this lady going around on tiktok asking should she and in those comments I seen a lot of guys say they wish they weren’t circumcised and a lot others saying they are perfectly fine without it circumcised. Which lead me to a even more so no though I already made the choice that I wasn’t in the first place.

My hubby isn't and is very, very insecure about it so he says we are definitely doing it. He had a very hard time in the locker room and he even hid it from me for the first 6 months we were together because he's so uncomfortable about it. He doesn't want our son to ever have to feel like that.
