Membrane Sweep Success Stories?? 5cm

I had a membrane sweep this afternoon at 5cm dilated. I was wondering if anyone who was already dilated significantly had one and had any luck with it? I know sometimes it doesn’t do much but am hoping it’ll do something since I am already 5cm.

With my first pregnancy I had a sweep done when I was 39+3 and I was 2cm dilated. My sweep was around 10am. By 6pm same day my contractions slowly started, admitted to hospital at midnight, and by 5am I was 10cm my water broke and I delivered my sweet boy! Getting a sweep at my next appt for baby #2!

I had my membranes swept for the first time Tuesday morning at 9:30 am. I was 4 cm. The week prior I was only 1, so I made a lot of progress on my own. I had steady contractions starting at 3 pm. By 8 pm they were strong & every 3-5 minutes. I delivered Wednesday (yesterday) morning at 11:05.

When I was 38w and 3cm with my second baby it worked. Less than 24 hours.
I’m 37 weeks today and 1cm and just had my first sweep today . 
Idk if this one will do it but hope so!
