I recently was diagnosed with vaginal herpes and was sent home with a prescription. Usually there is just one little ulcer on my labia but a couple weeks ago, I was having pain in my vaginal opening. It was hard to see with a mirror but looked like there was one there, like almost inside of me, right where my underwear would sit. I took the prescription for 3 days and felt better. Now a few days later, I feel it again and it looks just the same.

In the past, my outbreaks have been sooo rare that I’m wondering if this is something else but it does look the same! Could this be something else? Can you even get one that close to being inside? Do people sometimes need more rounds of the meds instead of the three days? What’s happening!?
