As long as they don’t get offended when I say “what’s it matter to you?” back lol

I would get irritated because 1. We are married and 2. This is our first baby after two losses, and we conceived during Covid. So I would be annoyed if people assumed we are having a baby because of a lockdown.

When it was my first pregnancy I was shocked people thought it was an appropriate question to ask, now third time around, like whatever man.

I wouldn’t say I get offended, I just feel a bit uncomfortable answering. It’s really none of their business so I’m always confused why they want to know

I dont think its rude, necessarily. Humans are naturally nosey/curious in general and I get that.  Im always curious about others pregnancies and try not to ask personal questions like that unless the person and I have a close relationship. Im always curious just for myself, not so I can gossip. Pregnancy is exciting! Lol

Honestly, I’d almost rather they ask since they’re going to assume anyway. We’ve been together for 7 years and it took us over a year and 2 miscarriages to get here. But because 1) we’re not married and 2) it’s quarantine, everybody is going to assume that she was not planned.

Yes and no. I think it’s a rude question and I can see how many people would be offended by it, so it does bother me. When I tell people we did IvF they usually feel a little awkward about having asked
