My midwife was so amazing. She was every bit as good as an ob if not better. She let me be in charge and was able to stitch me up without looking. I would only have an ob if I were high risk because they only do low risk at my practice.

I'd go with a midwife over a dr again unless I could have the same dr lol they were both great

I am having to use an OB, although I really wanted a midwife. This is my first and I have been on the waiting list for a midwife since I was 6 weeks!

I loved my whole first pregnancy and loved having midwives. Unfortunately I ended up having to have an emergency c-section, and with my current pregnancy I have to see an OB. I live in a very rural area and our hospital doesn’t do VBACs, so I will have to have a repeat cesarean. Luckily I love my current doctor as much as I loved my midwives!
