I worked until I went into labor. I wanted every second of my time off to be with my baby.

Mandatory maternity leave here starts 6 weeks before your due date unless there are medical concerns. Then it starts earlier.
Since my last daughter was 2 weeks early I basically started maternity leave 4 weeks before birth. With my daughter before, 8 weeks before cause she was 2 weeks late.

Three weeks prior to due date, a month before baby was actually born. I plan to go off a month prior this time as well.

Currently 36 weeks and my last day is penciled in for 39 weeks exactly!

36 weeks with my first (went into labor at 38+6). This time I’m taking extra leave and stopping at 33 weeks.

39 weeks. Wanted to take the last week off to rest and relax and ended up getting 2 weeks because she didn’t come until 41 weeks
