Covid test before birth???

Question

Im do in April on 22 would me and my husband have to be tested for covid before I give birth if I would have to be  Induced? 
What would they do if I just went into labor naturally if there's no reason for me to be induced?

I went into labor naturally and was still tested. Not sure being induced would make a difference on that. My husband did not have to be tested because he wasn’t the patient. You should be able to ask your ob and they can give you the answer on your hospital guidelines.

Depends the hospital. I did not have to get tested and I did not have to wear a  mask while I had my baby

My hospital requires you and the support person to have a covid rapid test before being admitted to the labor and delivery floor. If there isn't time for mom to be tested (emergency situation) they test as they admit but support person has to wait the 15 min for the rapid test result. Regardless you have to wear a mask but positive women are put in one wing while negative women are in another.

I guess it depends and part of the reason why I’m staying well away from hospital again. If I’m not ill I don’t need a test, neither does my husband.

My mom will be at the hospital with me when I have my c section on the 19th only I have to get tested for Covid she doesn’t

So here in Colorado they said that if your induced you will need a covid test if you go into labor naturally you don't. 
Didn't make sense to me but that's what my OB said.

I know they test you when you get there from friends who had babies

Depends where you are I gave birth June last year in the uk and they only covid tested me not my husband
