Contractions

Hello everyone, I’m a mom to be and I was just wondering, for those of you who already have kids, how and when did you guys contractions start? I’m only 34 weeks and 2 days, but baby girl has been 3 weeks ahead for 2 months now and is already measuring around 6 pounds 6 ounces, so they believe she will be coming early.
