Hiding it from the family

Not telling the family until Christmas has been a challenge. I wasn't a heavy drinker before just a drink or 2 when we'd go out to eat and sometimes we'd go to the bar with my parents. My husband and I are real partiers lol. I pulled it off at Thanksgiving but last night I had to tell my mom we didn't want to go out and I've still got 3 more weeks of this we are really close to my parents any suggestions on how I can keep this a secret a little longer
