So tonight my fiancé and I had a discussion about after our babies birth. I’m due in late April, and he gets one week off of work for fraternity leave. His mom lives hours away and I just know as soon as she finds out I’m in the process of delivering she’s going to travel up this way and be at our home waiting for us to leave the hospital. I’m a little anxious about this because I am a first time mom and I want to spend that week adjusting to our new lives with the baby just him and I. Breast feeding will probably be a challenge for me and I just want to comfortably walk around my home in my postpartum granny panties and my boobs out without having to tip toe around his mom sleeping on the living room couch... We don’t have a guest bedroom and there are many other family members in the area that she could stay with. I told him I didn’t mind visitors at all the first week but if we could please not having anyone stay the night until we get in a routine and he just doesn’t understand where I’m coming from.. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.
