Morning after pill question

So I took a Plan B last Tuesday and it was the first time I’ve ever taken one. Today (4 days since I took the pill) when I woke up I had spotted a little in my sleep. I have now been spotting all day but my period isn’t supposed to come for another 2 1/2 weeks. Are the 2 in connection? I’m just kinda confused bc Ive never had this happen to me.
