Long labor??

Question

I am 1 cm dilated and will be induced tomorrow. Will labor be really long since I am only dilated to a 1?

I went into hospital at 1cm in pain and was given diamorphine. Slept for about 5 hours and woke up 5 cm dilated. My labour was 8 hours in the end x

Not necessarily! I was barely a one when I was induced and I had my baby within 24 hours. I know that sounds like a long time but active labor only lasted about 14 hours. It just depends on if your baby is ready to come out!

I was 1 cm and induced with pitosin stopped dilating at 6cm and had to have a c section:/ it took me 19 hours to get to a 6

I wasn't dilated at all but got cervadil at 8pm, they took it out at 7am, started Pitocin at 8am, Doctor broke my water at 9am - dilated to a 10 from 0 by 12pm started pushing at 12:45 then the epidural wore off so I had to take a break the pain was so bad by 2pm I waited for the epidural to kick back in, started pushing again at 4:20 - Landon was born at 4:40pm. My labor really wasn't that long but the pain was horrific until the epidural which was amazing! Lol I had a great induction as far as these horror stories I've heard...

I was induced ar 1cm and it took two rounds of cervidil before I could even start the pitocin. I was in the hospital about 36 hours before he was born, but actual labor was only about 8 hours

I went for sweep at 39+6 due to pelvic pain . Was 3 cm had sweep next evening was  4cm popped my waters at 1030pm was born at 11 pm hArd to say I never knew I was dialated until sweep so can happen without knowing it when in labour x
