My husband and I dated for 6 years before we got married. Never had a problem with his mother/family. The day we got married it switched up. His mother had nothing good to say about me. Which made his grandma start on me. I put my foot down which they hate. His mother is also jealous of the family we have created. (Her words, not mine!) My husband doesn't even talk to them that much anymore. It's literally only a Happy Birthday or Merry Christmas.

yes my mother in law lives with us i love her as if  she was my own mother also get along get along with my father in law his girlfriend not so much i can't be around her at alll be she nothing to us so we're good 😌😂

His parents have passed away and the rest of his family besides his sister is racist. So no we don’t get along, we no longer speak to them.

I’m not close to my spouses family at all, his mom is an alcoholic so she just always bitches at me. His grandmother also calls me names! I forgot how it all started, I think it was when him & I split the very first time & they took his side & blamed me for everything! lol

My fiancé’s dad is my emergency contact so yes. We all get along. They’re all really really sweet people. His parents helped us out when I accidentally overdosed on my pills and we went to the hospital. They’re helping us finally move into our new place. They are giving us a car to use. They take good care of my fiancé and they look out for me too even tho I haven’t known them super long. They do stuff I don’t agree with but they are good hearted people for sure
