Tubes tied during ceseasrean?

Has anyone had or know anyone who has had their tubes tied at the same time as the ceseasrean? If yes, did you/they have to go under or were you awake the entire time for both?

I had mine done 2.5 years ago and no you're not put under. It's an extra 5 minutes or so after baby and placenta are out. I've had a lot of issues with my period since then, but the procedure itself was easy. I just felt sore on my sides where you get menstrual cramps for a couple of weeks, but nothing much extra on top of the c section recovery.

My mom did after my brother was born and he was a scheduled c section and they did it at the same time and no she wasn’t put under.
