Best paying jobs without a degree?

Question

Anybody know of any jobs that don’t require a degree that pays pretty well? I’m in school right now but I’m so lost I don’t know what I want to do, and I’m not a huge fan of school. Any advice?

When I was in nursing school I was a tech at the hospital I went to school at. You only have to take a 2 week course and you will learn a lot. You can also be a clerk if you’re not into patient care and with both of these jobs if you’re full time you can get pretty good benefits. I know hospitals are scary right now but hey job security. Also and this goes for any job you get, always accept any certification, training or extra thing you are offered to set yourself apart from others and more you more marketable to get a promotion and to stack your resume. When I was a tech anytime they were offering a certification in anything I did it, and I made me the go to person on the floor for special help. I did the same when I graduated and became a floor nurse. 
Don’t be afraid to start at the bottom. Even if it’s in retail. I remember working at bath and body works and the district manager came in (this is a 6 figure paying job that you don’t need a degree) and she told us she stared out as holiday help 15 years ago and worked her way up to being a store manager and up the ladder to where she is. You just have to work hard. If you want $20 an hour, do $20 an hour work.

Try and do your best in school. 
Outside class, consider learning a life skill - cooking/catering, landscaping, painting, makeup, tailoring, hair dressing, motor vehicle mechanics, writing, may come in handy.

My sister got into an preapprentice program for an electrician. She got laid off but if she hadn’t that would have been a great career.
