How long till real labor? FTM

Question

I’m having contractions 10 minutes apart. It’s 9:20 here and my boyfriend has an interview for a job that is huge for our family @12 and I won’t let him skip it. I have time right? How long do you think I have till they reach 5 min? Also our 4 year anniversary btw, would be special if baby came today! However I know labor can last hours and hours.

You can let him go to it hopefully you’ll be fine, have you lost your mucus plug or bloody show but if your water breaks and the contractions are bad I’d go to get checked out.

Every labor is different! 
With my second I only had 10 min contractions twice then gave birth 45 minutes later. But my sister-in-law had 10 minute apart contractions for almost 30 hours before giving birth
