Is it safe to put my baby on the ground in a hotel room

I’m staying at a comfort inn with my husband. And our 1 year old just started walking. Obviously she’s freaking out trying to crawl and walk all over but the floor looks old (the carpet) and idk if it’s a good idea. My mom now called me and made me paranoid and told me that she’s scared we’re going to get scabies. It’s not the nicest hotel.
