How many 1st time mom dilated cause they used a yoga ball. I’m trying to dilate from home at least some what, I use the yoga ball but I am just curious if the yoga ball even helps

The birth balls are meant to help open the hips and help baby get engaged in the right position but your body won’t begin dilating until it’s ready. It’s still good to use though!

I’m not sure if it’s because of the yoga ball but I’m 38+5 weeks and since my last appt (I was at 1/2cm) I have dilated another 1.5cms and I’ve been bouncing on the ball a lot. I can’t say for sure that’s what made me dilate though

Yoga ball didn't help dilate at all. It did help with pain management.

Not really sure if the exercise ball had anything to do with it or it was just my time lol but 2 days before labout I wasn't dilated at all, couldn't even get a sweep. The day my labour started I bounced on that thing all day lol hadn't really done that up until that point 🤷🏼‍♀️
