How did you tell your SO??

Question

How did you tell your SO you were pregnant when you weren't trying? My SO will be shocked but excited but I want to really surprise him!

I didn't do anything cute because I was so shocked, myself. Lol. I took the test and when those two pink lines showed up- I called him immediately while he was at work.

We had just painted our guest bedroom,  so I put a note with the pregnancy test in there. When he got home from work I took him to the room and asked him if he was ready to paint it again. He saw the note and was super surprised. I got it all on video.

I always imagined I would tell him in some cute way, but after I took the test and saw it was positive, I was so shocked and excited that I just screamed for him to come look from the bathroom lol. The pregnancy was definitely planned, but after seeing so many negatives for 10 months TTC, I was not expecting to see a positive test!

We took the test together (: it was not a planned pregnancy and his reaction wasn't immediately that of joy but I am glad we experienced it together

That morning before work I said to him look how heavy my boobs look ( I'm usually a B ) n he agreed n I said I'll get a test today but I was due for my period anyway I just wanted to check because we we're flying to Bali the next day, I took the test, the like came up before I even finished peeing n I rang him crying n said I'm pregnant! I'm now 19 weeks along 😊

I told mine I was taking a test because it was late. I took the test and came out of the bathroom and threw it at him. It was not planned by any means and in glad I tested when I did because the next day was his birthday and Memorial Day weekend and I would've been drinking all weekend. It wasn't a happy moment and I sobbed but within 10 minutes we were both laughing and happy. Bad timing is all. We moved our wedding and everything now that we're having our baby girl in January. We're sooooo excited to meet her!

My boyfriend was with me when I took the test so I didn't really surprise him but I've seen so many cute ideas on YouTube. My favorites have been putting a bun in the oven and letting him figure it out, or since it's close to Christmas you can wrap up your pregnancy test or a cute little "daddy" onesie and give it to him as a gift 😊
