Was swelling your first sign of preeclampsia?

Was swollen feet, hands and face your first sign of preeclampsia even with no protein in urine or high blood pressure?

That is a sign, but for preeclampsia to be diagnosed, I believe you have to have at least two signs of it.
My swelling was because late in pregnancy, the water was hooot. It was august, and I did drink a lot but not enough, so I swell up.

If u have preeclampsia u will have high blood pressure. If u don’t have high blood pressure then u don’t have preeclampsia. Swelling is a normal part of pregnancy

In my pregnancy i had preeclampsia my sign was protein in urine& swelling in my hands& feet..my doc did test on me one @28 weeks I didn’t have it so they monitored me my doc told me any face swelling she would be concerned to tel her immediately. I would have your doc monitor you. Then at 36 weeks I got tested again. Had preeclampsia& immediately had to have my son (that mon I got the results) protein levels were high...and ended up having my son at 37+4 weeks. Be careful preeclampsia is no joke& dangerous. Just make sure u keep telling your doc. If one of the doctors in the office wouldn’t have tested me again it could have been tragic.
