So back in 2016 my periods went off and went back to normal couple months after I got onto thyroid meds. for 2 years I was having unprotected sex with my then partner and we even used a liquid thing that was suppose to help sperm swim this was in August 2018. We took a break and last time I had sex with him was October 2018. Eventually my periods got wonky again. Where I believed they stopped for a while or they were just super light. Around July 2019 I started bleeding a lot on and off. Fast forward to August 2019 I see a gyno and we did labs and ultrasound and she mentioned how there was a little bit of fluid. Last time I had sex was oct 2018. In her notes she wrote she believes me when I say I haven’t been sexually active. My lining was thicker and she wanted to start me on progesterone. Is there by any chance it might’ve been old sperm that got stuck or maybe an egg that didn’t shed? I’m just curious cause
