Endometriosis & falling pregnant

Izzi 💍🤰

Hey wonderful warriors looking for successful pregnancy stories for endo suffers.

I'm 38 years old and had surgery 12 days ago, it was my second lap, I had multiple fibroids removed, D&C, both tubes checked, endotratium removed from my left ovary & endo and scar tissuing removed, it was a 4-5 hour so it was pretty intense.

I'm really glad to have got it over and done with and am super keen to try for baby no 1 as previous attempts were unsuccessful. The surgery done to my uterus was full on and I've been told that it needs 6 months to heal, which as you can imagine is a life time and I'm freaking out about not trying before endo gets a chance to return. I have been told I can start trying two months after surgery and plan on checking this again at my post op appointment.

What I would love to hear from you all is how long after your lap (if you had one) did you BD and how long it took you to fall pregnant (natural or IVF)and how old you were.

I know this surgery will increase my chances and I'm thankful for it, turning 39 in a couple of months is messing with my head.

Both my partner and I have been checked out and his sperm is fine and my egg count is good for my age, it's actually pretty decent and I've been told my right side is in perfect shape for IVF if I went down that route.

There's nothing more I want than to have my own child/s before time runs out & hearing your stories will settle my heart.
