Considering going to surgical technologist school but I would like to know more about their schedules/work options. I know most hospitals will be 12 hour shifts and some weekends but I’d like to know schedules from an ST personally. Is it difficult to land a job outside of the hospital, like surgery centers, etc? Are you satisfied with the pay? Do you feel like you still have a good work/life balance? Just looking for any advice from someone already in the field.
