Just strange as it sounds, today my mom said that daughter is her mom ( her mom is alive but they have estranged relationship). My dad passed away in 2018 after which her relationship became estranged.

My mom said that in the sense that my daughter calms and comforts her ( honestly I don't feel that's my daughter's duty and is toxic for my daughter to even think she is support to comfort her grand ma, my daughter is just one year old). I honestly think my mom is losing her mind! Am I over analyzing? I don't want my daughter to grow up thinking all this.
